How to Change a Quickpost Email Account Password in the Client Portal

If you are the Primary Administrator of your Email Hosting account, you can change the password for any email user directly from the client portal.

Step 1: Log in to the Client Portal

Log in to your Leapswitch Client Area.

From the left menu:

  • Click Services
  • Expand Business Email Hosting
  • Select your Email Hosting service



Step 2: Select the Correct Email Hosting Service

If you have multiple Email Hosting services or multiple domains under your account, make sure you select the correct Email Hosting service for the domain whose email password you want to change.

  • Locate the required Email Hosting service.
  • Click the Arrow (→) on the right-hand side of the service to open its management page.

Note: If you have more than one Email Hosting service, ensure you select the correct domain before proceeding to the next step.

 

Step 3: Open the Users & Aliases Section

After opening your Email Hosting service:

  • Click the Users & Aliases tab.
  • Locate the email account whose password you want to change.
  • Click the Key (????) icon under the Actions column.

 

 

Step 3: Enter a New Password

A pop-up window will appear.

  • Enter the new password.
  • Use a strong password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
  • Click Save Password.

 

Important Notes

  • Password changes take effect immediately.
  • After changing the password, update it in all devices and email applications such as:
    • Microsoft Outlook
    • Thunderbird
    • Apple Mail
    • Android Mail
    • iPhone/iPad Mail

Otherwise, those devices may repeatedly fail to authenticate until the saved password is updated.
